Scene: Georgia College & State University in Milledgeville. A state championship trophy waits in the auditorium for its new owners. For the second year in a row, Riverwatch Middle School of the Forsyth County School District worked its way through the morning round-robin competition at the PAGE Academic Bowl for Middle Grades and the double-elimination championship round in the afternoon to claim the first-place hardware. Team members are (in alphabetical order): David Bai, Doris Bai, Shreyas Devagupthapu, Vihan Devagupthapu, Suchet Kuturu. Nathan Li, Pranav Sivakumar, Cameron Vance, and Presley Vance. The team’s coaches are Ann Hicks (right) and Laura Jopling (left).
