Membership Types

All certified and professional staff in public schools and school system offices, including counselors, social workers, technology specialists, nurses and security officers. Educators from accredited private schools are also eligible for PAGE membership.

If you were a college student/teacher candidate or a support personnel member last year, your first year of membership as a professional is half the normal dues.

Paraprofessionals, substitute teachers, bus drivers and staff (school nutrition, maintenance, school support or central office support).

Undergraduate or graduate students in colleges and universities. (Liability coverage applies only to student teaching or field experiences, not for any contract/paid position.)

• Student membership does not cover you as a paid employee. 

• Once you become certified, you need to upgrade your membership to “Professional.”

• If you are employed as a substitute or paraprofessional, you need to join as a “Support Personnel” member. 

High school students enrolled in an Education Pathway course (ECE or TAP).

One-year membership for retired educators. Does not include liability coverage.
