Volunteer Training Video
Created specifically for the PAGE Academic Bowl for Middle Grades volunteers, this training video should teach you the ins and outs of what to do about the situations that can (and do) arise during a competition. This video will also be helpful for new coaches, parents and students who want to hone their knowledge of the PAGE Academic Bowl rules. (The most current rules can be found in the Volunteer Manual.)

The PAGE Academic Bowl for Middle Grades needs volunteers to serve as readers, judges and time keepers at our Regional and State Championship Competitions. The competition is formatted like a quiz bowl, with five team members on each team using a buzzer system to respond to questions. ( – Some of the rules and information have changed since this was filmed in 2010. The Volunteer Manual contains the most up-to-date information.)
