PAGE cordially invites all colleges to have a recruitment table at our “FGE Days” to be hosted at various colleges across the state for the specific purpose of recruiting young people into the field of education. The colleges of education at these host institutions have teamed up with PAGE to plan an exciting day of professional learning, networking, and college visitation for high school students who may be considering a career in education. 8:45 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. – Check-in
9:30 a.m. to 10:20 a.m. – Opening session and Keynote
10:30 a.m. to 10:50 a.m. – Knowledge Bowl
11 a.m to 11:45 a.m. – Breakout sessions/ College fair, Round 1
11:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. – Lunch (included in your registration)
12:20 p.m. to 1:05 p.m. – Breakout sessions/ College fair Round 2
1:10 p.m. to 1:55 p.m. – Breakout sessions/ College fair Round 3
2 p.m. – Optional campus tour (Note: campus tour not available at UGA or GA State)
Dress Code
The dress code for college reps is business casual. Comfortable shoes are recommended. Please note the weather expected for the day and be prepared for walking outdoors between buildings if you plan to join us for lunch.
How to Register
Registration is completely online; you may choose to pay by credit card or check. Cost is $35 per event and includes lunch for two representatives. Please note that the person who completes the registration form will be the point of contact for all events, regardless of who will actually be attending the events. Prior to each event, we will email details to the registrar and kindly ask that person to forward those details to the representative(s) who will attend.
Note to Host Colleges: You do not need to register and pay for a table at the event held on your campus. You will automatically have a table at that event.
IMPORTANT!! At the end of the registration process when the confirmation page appears, click the blue “Download Confirmation” button and save that pdf. It is your receipt. Please enclose with your payment (if paying by check).
