Your First Years Matter.
PAGE Can Help You Build What Comes Next.

The first years of teaching are full of big moments: some inspiring, some challenging, and many that leave you wondering what comes next. The PAGE New Teacher Academy is designed for educators who have completed one to three years in the classroom and are ready to grow with purpose, access significant professional support, and engage with a community that understands the work.
Through mentoring, coaching, practical classroom assistance, and meaningful collaboration, participants will gain tools they can use immediately while also developing a clearer sense of who they are as educators. The Academy will help teachers expand their instructional skills, build resilience, and create a network of colleagues who can encourage and challenge them throughout their careers.
Just as importantly, participants will explore the power of educator voice – how teachers can speak with clarity about what students need, advocate for their profession, and help shape the future of public education in Georgia.

The PAGE New Teacher Academy is led by 2023 Georgia Teacher of the Year Michael Kobito. Additionally, experienced educators will serve as mentors, providing ongoing small-group and 1:1 support.
Participants will get together four times throughout the school year and join virtual sessions that fit their schedules.
All costs are covered by PAGE, including substitutes, accommodations, resources, and travel stipends.
If you are in your first three years of teaching, the PAGE New Teacher Academy is designed for you. Click the graphic below to fill out your application. Below you will also find the administrative request letter to participate in New Teacher Academy and the administrative approval form.
