Georgia Academic Decathlon
Elite Scholars Academy Finishes Sixth in Its Division, Georgia Academic Decathletes Earn Medals at USAD National Competition
Once teams compete at PAGE Georgia Academic Decathlon, it's not the end of competition for many of the students. They're off to United States Academic Decathlon® (USAD) Nationals!
Georgia’s champ, Clayton County's Elite Scholars Academy, led the state delegation at nationals, finishing sixth in their division and bringing eight National medals home. In total, Georgia earned 13 medals at the 2023 national competition.
The USAD national competition is divided into divisions by school size and by in-person and online formats. Elite Scholars Academy and Columbus High School (Muscogee County) represented Georgia at the in-person event in Frisco, Texas. Georgia's online entrants were:
