By participating in this Code of Ethics session, you acknowledge that you are responsible for understanding the content of the Georgia Code of Ethics for Educators and for successfully completing this online course. You also acknowledge that the Professional Association of Georgia Educators (PAGE) is not responsible for any issues or concerns related to your completion or understanding of the code of ethics as presented in this course.

Important note: The Code of Ethics for Educators was updated. As of July 2023, Standard 9 abandonment of contract has been updated to state the PSC will not sanction a certificate if resignation is submitted prior to June 1. This is a change from the original June 15th date.

Welcome to the Professional Association of Georgia Educators (PAGE) Georgia Code of Ethics for Educators (COE) training. You will begin by watching a recently recorded presentation by a PAGE attorney that covers the key aspects of the code.

You can access the COE standards through this link: https://www.pageinc.org/psc-code-of-ethics. It is recommended to have the standards available to follow along with the COE presentation.

After viewing the COE presentation, you will be directed to a link where you can complete an ethics quiz to assess your knowledge and understanding of the code.

If you are a PAGE member and have any questions about the COE presentation or require legal assistance with any other employment-related matters, please do not hesitate to contact the PAGE legal department at 770-216-8555 (and select option 1) or email us at legal@pageinc.org.
