 Public Relations and Media:

We were honored to have Rich Johnson, director of external affairs for AT&T Georgia, attend the event to present the AT&T scholarship.  The PAGE STAR program received significant media exposure, primarily via local newspapers and local television stations statewide. These included stories about individual high school STAR winners, System STAR winners, Region STAR winners and the State PAGE STAR Student.  The news release announcing the State PAGE STAR Student was distributed statewide to the appropriate media and was posted on the PAGE and PAGE Foundation websites and the PAGE Facebook page.

*This year there were 21 STAR Student Region winners, but one STAR Region winner declined to compete at the state level, bringing the total number of competing State STAR Region winners to 20.
