Congratulations to Elite Scholars Academy – The 2023 PAGE Georgia Academic Decathlon State Champion!
Clayton County’s Elite Scholars Academy, coached by Jack Smith, is the 2023 PAGE Georgia Academic Decathlon (GAD) State Champion. The team scored the highest number of points overall in Division I and II and earned the Howard Stroud Championship Trophy. It is the third time the school has captured the title. The team is invited to represent Georgia at the United States Academic Decathlon® national competition in Frisco Texas this April. Read More . . .

Georgia’s state champ, Elite Scholars Academy, finished 5th in their division and brought home eight National medals. The medalists are:

Kayla Sheriffe: Bronze, Music and Founders Scholarship recipient – Most Improved Student

Malcolm Shabazz: Bronze, Economics and Bronze, Mathematics

Oluwafeyisayo Romiluyi: Bronze, Music and GOLD, Speech
Victoria Popoola: Silver, Interview
Georgia’s Division IV rep, Model High School, also earned 2 National medals.

Villa Rica High School Varsity student, Halen Harper, earned a Bronze for Science in the Large School Online competition.
Columbus High School Honor student, Owen Steele, earned Bronze medals for both Science and Social Science in the Medium School Online competition.
Two of Davidson Fine Arts Magnet Honor students earned medals in the Small School Online competition. Song Ting Tang earned a Bronze in Economics and Andrew McMahon earned a Silver in Social Science.
