PAGE Georgia Academic Decathlon (GAD)

Hundreds of volunteers are needed to facilitate the PAGE Georgia Academic Decathlon State Competition at Parkview High School on February 25 – 26. We provide training and will sign off on volunteer hours. Please visit the GAD Volunteer Information page for more information and to sign up.

The PAGE Georgia Academic Decathlon State competition couldn’t happen without the support of our volunteers. You are appreciated and we look forward to seeing you again!

2021-22 Season Info

This year’s curriculum is Water: A Most Essential Resource. We are planning for a hybrid State Competition with Essay and the Subject Area Test events online while Super Quiz, Speech and Interview will be in person.

Clayton County’s Elite Scholars Academy captures United States Academic Decathlon Rookie Of The Year Honors

At this year’s United States Academic Decathlon® (USAD) Nationals, Clayton County’s Elite Scholars Academy captured both the Division III (small school division) Rookie of the Year honors as well as a fourth-place finish in its classification. Elite Scholars Academy represented Georgia after earning state champion honors at this year’s Georgia Academic Decathlon (GAD), sponsored by the Professional Association of Georgia Educators (PAGE). Congratulations to Elite Scholars Academy – The 2021 PAGE Georgia Academic Decathlon State Champion!

Clayton County’s Elite Scholars Academy, coached by Jack Smith, is the 2021 PAGE Georgia Academic Decathlon (GAD) State Champion. The team scored the highest points overall in Division I and II and earned the Howard Stroud Championship Trophy. It is the first time the school has captured the title. The team is invited to represent Georgia at the United States Academic Decathlon® national competition to be held virtually on  April 29-May 1, 2021. Read More . . .
