Communications Specialist: Copywriting, Social Media, Design

Position Overview:
PAGE is seeking a Communications Specialist to join our team. The individual in this role will write, design, and publish targeted, effective messaging across multiple print and digital platforms. The ideal candidate will thrive in a creative,strategy-driven, deadline-oriented environment that blends collaborative development with independent implementation.
Functions & Responsibilities
Providing primary support to the Communications Director:
- Copywriting: Draft, edit, proofread, and publish multi-platform content. Deliverables include
articles/blogs, marketing/promotional materials, social media and website content, event collateral, media releases, and more.
- Social Media: Create and implement campaigns and content calendars; Monitor comments and coordinate response; Track analytics; Draft proposals.
- Design: Ads, flyers, social media graphics, promotional materials, and more
- Contribute to creation of project timelines; Track project progress.
- Attend certain PAGE events and contribute to event deliverables and post-event messaging.
- Additional Responsibilities, as assigned
Qualifications & Core Competencies:
- Bachelor’s Degree: Communications, Marketing, Journalism, English, or related field.
- Exceptional copywriting skills and experience with demonstrated ability to transform strategic direction into targeted, effective content (writing samples required).
- Proven ability to edit and proofread content generated by self and others.
- Strong experience with social media and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign).
- Familiarity with web / print management. (Preferred but not required.)
- Excellent interpersonal relations and time management skills.
Location & Hours:
This position is based in the Atlanta office with remote capability. Standard hours will be established with the supervisor with the expectation for occasional evening / weekend work as well as some travel.
