State Competition, January 23, 2021

Rounds 1 -5 are scheduled from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Rounds 6-8 are scheduled from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m.

All students should complete all 8 rounds. All 24 teams will be matched in the morning rounds. The top 8 teams after the morning session will compete for awards and the State Championship. The remainder of the teams will continue playing to identify the final rankings.

Scores and awards will be sent a few days after competition.

A State Competition Coaches meeting was held on Wednesday, January 20, 6 p.m. If you missed it, the recording can be viewed here.

Please return the following by the date indicated:

• • T-shirt Request – submit by midnight Jan 22. The order will be placed Monday, January 25. Your shirts will be shipped to the address listed in your order.
  • You should have already received an email from Qblitz with the code for your 5 students to register for your team. Students should redeem their codes by the end of the day, Friday, January 15. Please email buzz@qblitz.org if you have any questions or problems.
  • The top 8 teams will be asked to send a photo for publication on the website and in the PAGE One magazine. More information will be sent to the winners after results are released.
