TIME: Registration 8:15 – 8:45
Orientation 8:45 – 9:00
Competition: 9:00 – until completed (usually by 1pm)
Teams will be pre-assigned in 2 divisions. The top two teams from each division’s Round Robin will advance to State Competition at Georgia College on January 21, 2023.

Lunch/Food:
There will be no lunch served or concessions for teams. You may bring your own snacks. There will be a hospitality room for coaches and volunteers.

The mask mandate and spectator limitations have been lifted for this year.

Please bring your buzzers and give to volunteers at the check in table.

Directions:
From I 75: Take exit #201 toward Barnesville/Gordon State (Hwy 36)
After about 10 miles bear off to the right – follow the sign for Hwy 36.
At stop sign turn left on Hwy 19/41/341
At next red light turn right (You will see a Dollar Tree store at this intersection)
School entrance will be about 1/4 mile on left. You will see the sign for Lamar County Middle School. Turn at this entrance then make an immediate right to go around to the back of the building. We will have signs pointing the way.
Buses will park in the back parking lot – this is an oval shaped lot so park one right behind the other. The parking lot is small.
Students and coaches will enter the door at the cafeteria – there will be a check in table right inside the door.
From Hwy 19/41/341
Whether coming from North or South on this hwy you will turn at the Ingles.
School entrance is on the left about 1/4 mile. Drive around to the back of the building. Buses will park in the parking lot there.

Teams will gather in the cafeteria.

Timeliness and preparedness of teams in the competition can affect the start time (enough buzzer systems, completed paperwork, etc.). Teams arriving late will forfeit the rounds they miss unless the Regional Coordinator grants special permission (extenuating circumstances). Please call or text the coordinator if you are delayed or need to cancel on the morning of competition.
