Orientation: 8:30 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.
Competition: 9:15 a.m. – until completed (usually around 1 p.m.)

In an effort to be respectful of your time, we have decided that we will NOT offer lunch. In lieu of lunch, snacks will be sold. More details will be sent to coaches via email later.

The competition will begin promptly at 9:15 a.m.  Teams arriving late will forfeit the rounds they miss, unless the regional coordinator grants special permission (extenuating circumstances).  Please call if something happens to delay your team or if you need to cancel.

The Regional Coordinator reserves the right to limit the number of spectators per room as necessary.  Please give team members a copy of the Spectator’s Guide found on page 3 of the Academic Bowl manual.  Children under 4th grade will not be allowed in the competition rooms. 

After the regular competition, we will have a crossover even if there are undefeated teams in the competition.

Please remember to bring your buzzer systems.

PLEASE PLAN TO BRING ONE ADULT OR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT WHO WOULD BE ABLE TO HELP TIME THE ROUNDS IF NEEDED.
