Regions 01 and 02 will be competing together. Two teams will advance from Region 01 and two teams will advance from Region 02. The Region 01 State teams will be identified based on W/L records (or points if needed) before determining which four Region 02 teams will face-off in the crossover.

State competition will be held on January 25 at Georgia College in Milledgeville. More information will be emailed to the winners during the week after Regional competition.

We will not allow for a lunch break. All teams are encouraged to bring their own snacks; an area in the cafeteria will be designated to each team.

Competition will begin promptly at 9:00 a.m. except for extenuating circumstances. Teams arriving late will forfeit the rounds they miss. Please call the cell number above before 8:30 A.M. on the day of the competition if your team is delayed, or you need to cancel.

We will meet in the cafeteria in the morning, at the end of the morning round, and after competition.

We DO NOT need your buzzer systems and or stop watches. They will be provided by the Cherokee County Schools. We do not need volunteers; however, you may bring one if you wish. Volunteers should arrive by 8:00 a.m. for an orientation. Volunteer materials can be found on the PAGE Academic Bowl website at www.pageinc.org/academicbowl. Please watch the Volunteer Training video (approximately 26 minutes) prior to competition.

Children under 4th grade will not be allowed in the competition rooms and all children must be supervised at all times. No one may enter or leave a competition room after the round begins.

While sportsman-like conduct has characterized both competitors and spectators at previous competitions, please note that the Regional Coordinator reserves the following rights:

Limiting the number of spectators per room as necessary.

Barring a person(s) from further observance if they cause any type of disturbance.

Please give team members a copy of the Spectators Guide found on page 3 of the PAGE Academic Bowl Manual.
