Time: 7:30 a.m.

Location: Berkmar High School, 405 Pleasant Hill Rd, Lilburn GA 30047

As a Test Proctor for the PAGE Georgia Academic Decathlon, you have simple but very important "duties." You will supervise students in a classroom setting as they take a series of seven (7) thirty-minute exams. It will be your responsibility to pass out and collect testing materials, read aloud the testing instructions and monitor the students as they take their exams. You will be given a script to go by and a schedule to adhere to. We have a total of nine testing rooms, and our goal is to have two test proctors in each room, provided that we have enough volunteers.

There will be a brief "training" for testing proctors on the morning of the competition to go over specific instructions, and we will serve a continental breakfast during this time. Because our schedule is very tight, it is especially important that test proctors arrive on time.

Thank you in advance for considering volunteering as a GAD Test Proctor. Serving as a test proctor is a simple but meaningful way to support the deserving students who choose to compete in this rigorous academic competition.

Sincerely,
Kathy Rechsteiner

GAD Testing Coordinator
